Project Description:
Create a high-energy, immersive live activation celebrating the launch of Borderlands 4 for Warped Tour Long Beach and PAX West that delivers an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind rage room interactive experience.
Pre-Production:
Working closely with Revolution Marketing on the physical build, I supplied in-game screenshots and reference materials to ensure the activation remained visually and tonally true to Borderlands 4. I also collaborated on the layout and guest flow of the space and developed copy for signage throughout the experience.

WARPED TOUR
Despite not being a gaming-centric event, Warped Tour offered a uniquely aligned opportunity for us, where fans of the game, music, and chaos could come together, making it an ideal setting for the Rage Room activation. At the event, I captured photo and video content in collaboration with our social team and event cosplayers and supported the talent team by producing interviews with participating artists, including Yung Gravy, Ice-T, and the Nova Twins.
Immediately after the event, I worked closely with an editor to create quick-turn social videos, such as the recap featured below. Likewise, I worked with the same editor to create talent-specific cutdowns for each individual to post on their social media profiles.

PAX WEST
While PAX West was a more traditional and intuitive setting for a gaming activation, it introduced a different set of production challenges. These included a significantly smaller footprint, close coordination with venue and event leadership to ensure safety protocols remained in place, strict noise and decibel limits, and the added complexity of managing multiple concurrent elements— ranging from cosplayer appearances to scheduled social influencer collaborations.
Throughout the event, I provided on-the-ground producer support, coordinating talent and cosplayers while ensuring schedules stayed flexible and on track. I captured photo and video content continuously, adapting to the pace of the show floor, and helped plan and execute key social and influencer moments to maximize visibility and engagement. Despite the constraints, the activation remained high-energy and one of the most popular (and notorious) activations at the 3-day event.
